I for one, do not think it was a hoax and have been called some very rude names for thinking such. I went and read some hoax websites as well as some debunking websites and it's all very interesting but I still believe it actually happened.

I was thinking about becoming a hermit or a crazy cat lady. Mostly cause then I wouldn't have to deal with people or any of the stuff related to people. I like the idea of being a hermit cause then I can just hole up in my apartment. But if I were a hermit people may still try to bug me. So being a crazy cat lady became more appealing. No one bugs crazy cat ladies. Lookit the one on the Simpsons! I'd be like her, anyone starts talking to me, I'd pull a cat out of my house robe and chuck it at 'em. XD
This idea is totally growing on me...
I'll let you decide how serious I am. :P |

When organizations don't actually bother to do research and then spread news without some backup information, it really cheeses me off. The reason I'm posting this? Because I'm getting sick and tired of seeing OMGZ SIGN THIS PETITION!!! about the use of live animals as shark bait by fishermen on an island in the Indian Ocean. If people had BOTHERED to do a bit of research they would have found that this practice is already illegal there and people are being prosecuted as they are found out.
So please, educate yourself before spouting off.
(Here's hoping someone doesn't comment with something to disprove my report now XD)

| A Dating Poll |

I was having a chat with ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) wolviesgal last night and we were talking about guys. At one point I was telling her about these two guys who are supposedly interested in me (filtered entry - if you can't see it, don't ask). I said to her "Obviously someone thinks I'm cute but why can't it be the wrap guys?" and her levelheaded response was "Maybe they do and they're just as shy as you are". We chatted about some other stuff (which I can't remember exactly) and at one point it was mentioned to make a poll. Right now I didn't want to make a poll saying "What do you like about me and why" although I'm still interested in that information. The poll is just a general dating poll because I'm interested in finding out what other people think and also because it may give me some insight or help me change my thinking if need be.

| OMG so bored |

I am sooo bored right now. And I've only been at work for an hour and 20 minutes. *sigh* I got caught up on the computer, chatting with vanilla_pixie and fiddling with things, that it was 5:25 before I realized what time it was. Then I was like "Oh shit!" and dashed around getting ready. Which means I just shoved my stuff in my purse, hopped on my bike and away I went. So all I have is my little kitty purse. Nothing else. Maybe I'll see if I can get a puzzle book or something on my break. Well, I guess it would have to be on my lunch cause my break is at 8am and there are no stores open in the mall at that time. Well no stores that sell puzzle books.
I have this customer right now who has a laptop from work that he can't connect with. He uses a router and is currently online using his home computer. So what do you think the problem is? It's his farking laptop. Then he asks me if I can do a remote connection to his laptop to fix it. Um duh, remote connections require an internet connection you dumbass. So, since it is a corporate laptop I told him I couldn't help him with it. I mean, he's connected using his home computer so obviously his DSL connection is fine. GAH. Some people.
One of the gaps where I had a tooth pulled is bugging me. Actually, my whole mouth is bugging me. I wonder if my wisdom teeth are moving around. They probably are. When I got these teeth pulled, the dentist thought I wouldn't have to get my wisdom teeth out because removing the two they did would free up enough space on my jaw. I hope that's true. Mind you, if it's anything like getting two regular teeth pulled it wouldn't be so bad. I was knocked out for that. :D And I had hardly any pain afterwards. I think the oral surgeon prescribed me 30 pain killers and I used like 4. Woo!
I applied for a whole bunch of jobs yesterday. I hope I hear something from one of them. One of the ones I applied for was tech support but the starting wage was $17/hour! I hope I get it. That would rock my socks. Like totally. :D
Well, since I'm not supposed to be posting here at all, I better go find something else to do. :\ |

Okay never mind, just movies. I can't be bothered to post about boys right now. Suffice it to say I'm excited, flattered, scared shitless although somewhat confident and nervous. *nods*
Okay so today I was supposed to go to a movie with a friend of mine but he never showed and it totally pissed me off. I went home, had my good news - which I will post about when it is confirmed - and then went back to work to share my good news with Wendy and bring her a dvd that she ordered through my amazon account. Then I decided to go to a movie to treat myself about my good news. So I went to see Wedding Crashers which is what I was supposed to see with my jackass of a friend.
Oh. My. God. This movie was farking hilarious!!! I loved it! There were a couple of parts that were a little ... eh but overall it was awesome. I can't wait for the DVD. And it just made me fall in love with Vince Vaughn all over again. *dreamy sigh* I need to upload an icon of him. And OMG Owen Wilson's nose really does look like a penis. Poor guy. ROFL
Rating: 4.5/5 - The movie itself gets a 4 but it gets an extra half point for being two hours of Vince Vaughn. XD |

There's this guy that sits beside me at work and I don't really like him. I find him to be a little creepy. I think I've mentioned him in another post - he would stare at me when I started doing something. Well he randomly talks to me too which is annoying. He asked me today about the agent check in report and I was like "Oh it's not working" and then he asked me what he was supposed to do so I said "What you normally do" but he didn't know if he had a preshift or not. Well, what am I? Your supervisor? I don't know. So I told him to go ask a sup. He did and then he came back and told me that the sup found out whether or not he had a preshift. Great. I don't care. Why do I care about this? I really don't. And I don't because 1) I think you're creepy and 2) I don't care if I have a preshift, why would I care if you do? Guh. I must give off some sort of vibe for creepy people to talk to me. *shudder*
It's almost lunch time so I'll go for my walk around the mall. I'm not going to buy any food because I had a sandwich this morning before I went to work and had a hot chocolate and bagels on my break. And since I'm going to a movie this afternoon, I'll save up my hunger for then and get popcorn again. :D
I had a rather odd dream last night. I told vanilla_pixie and daiquiri1971 about it already so you two will just have to skip this part. :P
I was in university again and I was in like this house. I guess it was the house where I lived. I was gathering up my laundry in my room. Ted (one of the wrap guys) was laying on the bed and Nick (the other wrap guy, the one I really like) was sitting on the floor against the bed or on the bed or something. I was majorly flirting with Nick - like way more obvious than what I've done up to now - and Ted was laying there laughing. He was trying to hide it and Nick didn't really catch on but I saw him. So then for whatever reason, I guess my charm XD, Nick decided he would go out with me. He walked me to my class which was in a building at the top of a set of stairs (outside - the stairs were outside, not the class). When we got to the stairs he stopped and told me that he wasn't going to see me anymore. I asked why and he said it was because I said that he could have sex with all my friends. [I told that to a couple of girls here at work and the one said "Are you sure that wasn't his dream?" HAHAHAHA] I was shocked and appalled! I was like "I never said that!" and then he quoted me. I don't know what I said exactly but it was very obviously a joking comment and that's what I said "I was just joking around!" but he wouldn't hear of it and he turned away. I walked back up the stairs partway and then turned around and ran back to him to try to get him to change his mind but he wouldn't. So I walked back up the stairs and at the top of the stairs I was trying to unlock the door with a set of keys that looked like my apartment keys (IRL). I looked down and he was still at the bottom of the stairs watching me - not in a creepy way, kind of in a sad way or whatever.
And that was my dream. What the heck does it mean? I really don't understand because I NEVER dream about the guys I'm interested in or even dating. My one ex, we were together for 3 years and I never had a dream about him. NEVER. So what's going on??
I also found myself thinking today, that I sort of hope that Ted has a girlfriend too. What a dumb thing to think eh? But I know why I was thinking that and ... well... I can't really argue with myself. If he has a girlfriend then I won't get rejected and hurt. It wouldn't be *me* that caused it to not happen. That makes sense in my head but I'm having a hard time getting out here. If he has a girlfriend then I wouldn't have to hear "I'm not interested in you in that way". Yeah. That's what I mean. This is another reason why I haven't said anything. I want to... boy do I want to... but I haven't and I don't know that I will. I know it's such a stupid way to live life but that's what I'm doing. Blah.
Chad finally called me though. So that was nice. I was out and he left a message. I called him back but he was out. I didn't feel like calling his cellphone so I didn't. But it was nice to hear from him. And I'm supposed to go to the movies today with my friend Derek. He better call me back. Although if he doesn't I'll just call him on my last break. We're supposed to go see Wedding Crashers. It's playing up at the cheap theater. :D
When I went up there yesterday to see Madagascar there was a preview for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and it made me want to go see it so I may do that tomorrow or maybe Friday after work. It's kinda fun to go to a movie after work. :D Ooh The 40 Year-Old Virgin is listed under Coming Soon. I am so going to see that when it comes out.
I'm thinking about buying Anchorman. What do you guys think? I love Will Farrell, I think he's hilarious and there are other people in that movie that I love as well. I haven't seen it but I've heard it's great. Thoughts?

I went to see Madagascar today after work. My mom was supposed to come with me but she decided she didn't want to. So I went on my own. :P Which I was going to do anyway and then I asked her if she wanted to come so it worked out okay.
The movie was HILARIOUS OMG. There were so many jokes in that movie that seemed to go over a lot of people's heads. There were a lot of kids which is not unexpected but there were also a lot of adults (parents of the kids) and I'm surprised I didn't hear them laughing more. Oh well. I highly recommend this movie to everyone and I will be buying it when it comes out on DVD. My only complaint? It went by SO quickly!!! But it was so funny. I could sit and watch it again now. hee!
